Efrem Harkham is an experienced businessman in all aspects of real estate investment, as well as the hospitality industry. His experience includes acquisition, development, redevelopment, and management of commercial real estate and hotels.
Mr. Harkham started his career in the fashion industry as President and CEO of Jonathan Martin and Hype clothing manufacturers. Beginning in 1979, Mr. Harkham began investing in Fashion District properties and together with his brother, Uri Harkham, and Moshe Aflalo started a property management company to manage their growing real estate business. Over the next three decades, Mr. Harkham and his partners continued to successfully grow their real estate business with opportunistic acquisitions and a risk‐averse strategy which secured their investments through the peaks and valley of real estate investment.

In 1983, Mr. Harkham purchased what is now the Luxe Hotel Sunset Boulevard as a pet project. Mr.
Harkham aggressively moved forward to close the gaps in the hotel’s management, cutting the hotel’s losses by half within six months and completely eliminating them within the year. His success in this pet project fueled a new‐found passion for the hospitality and hotel business within Mr. Harkham. Now also the owner of Luxe Rodeo Drive Hotel in Beverly Hills, in 1998, he founded Luxe Worldwide Hotels, set on creating a hotel brand and a representation company that would offer hotels the specific, personalized services they couldn’t get from the majority of franchise operations.

Moshe Aflalo is an experienced businessman including all aspects of real estate investment. His experience includes acquisition, development, redevelopment, and management of commercial real estate. Mr. Aflalo first started his career in the fashion industry in the 1970s. He created a very successful retail/wholesale store/showroom in the Fashion District of Downtown Los Angeles. Beginning in 1979, Mr. Aflalo began investing some of the profits from his business in Fashion District properties and together with Uri and Efrem Harkham started a property management company to manage their growing real estate business. Over the next three decades, Mr. Aflalo and his partners continued to successfully grow their real estate business with opportunistic acquisitions and a risk-averse strategy which secured their investments through the peaks and valley of real estate investment.

 

URI HARKHAM

Uri Harkham is an experienced businessman including all aspects of real estate investment. His experience includes acquisition, development, redevelopment, and management of commercial and residential real estate. Mr. Harkham first started his career in the fashion industry in 1975 when he founded Harkham Industries. Today, Harkham Industries is recognized world wide, as an apparel industry leader, in the design and manufacturing of sportswear, dresses, and shoes for the young contemporary markets. Beginning in 1979, Mr. Harkham began investing some of the profits from his business in Fashion District properties and together with his brother Efrem Harkham and Moshe Aflalo started a property management company to manage their growing real estate business. In March 1993, Uri Harkham was elected to the board of directors of Public Storage, the largest self-storage company in America. Over the past three decades, Mr. Harkham and his partners have successfully grown their real estate business with opportunistic acquisitions and a risk-averse strategy which secured their investments through the peaks and valley of real estate investment. Today, Mr. Harkham manages a real estate portfolio including over sixty residential and commercial properties in various Los Angeles sub-markets.
